Brazil’s Movement of People Affected by Dams (MAB) launched a campaign on Monday to raise money for the victims of the Vale dam collapse that happened in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, last Friday, Jan. 25.

Rescue crews working in the area reported that the death toll reached 65 today, while 279 people are still missing, according to local authorities.

On their website, the movement wrote that the campaign aims to “raise funds to strengthen the organization of the people impacted by the tragedy, by sending brigades to support displaced families and the families of the victims, to ensure they have their rights respected.”
